Louis Vuitton and Real Madrid Partnership

Real Madrid has every reason to show off: top of the league in Spain, a lineup that reads like a who’s-who of football—Luka Modrić, Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior—and now, a groundbreaking Louis Vuitton collaboration

The French leather goods legend launched his own label in Paris in 1854, and it wasn’t long before his trunks became must-haves for the stylish jet set. From Coco Chanel to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, everyone wanted a Vuitton case, and that hasn’t changed a bit (per Vogue). Hollywood legends like Audrey Hepburn, Catherine Deneuve, and Lauren Bacall all had a soft spot for the iconic monogram, too.

Now, the legendary French maison and Spain’s top-tier La Liga club are joining forces, fusing signature Parisian luxury with all the thrill football has to offer.

“We are proud to support a club whose history is marked by countless victories and which continues to inspire generations. Louis Vuitton and Real Madrid share values that have driven them to the top of their respective disciplines, propelled by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a spirit of innovation and self-improvement,” stated Louis Vuitton CEO, Pietro Beccari.

Speaking on the occasion, Emilio Butragueño emphasized that excellence is what keeps Real Madrid moving forward. “At Real Madrid, we regard excellence as the essential way to stay at the top. The same philosophy defines a brand as iconic in the fashion industry as Louis Vuitton. We have both succeeded in transcending time, and not only share the responsibility to build a lasting legacy, but also to inspire the world beyond our respective industries,” the Real Madrid legend stated.

In a recent development, Louis Vuitton, part of the LVMH group, announced a groundbreaking 10-year partnership with Formula 1, taking on the role of Official Partner and Title Partner for the 2025 Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix (per Hypebeast).

The French luxury leather goods brand has a track record of working with some of the biggest names in sports, including the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the NBA, FIFA World Cup, Roland Garros, and others (per L'Officiel Philippines).

The French fashion house is a key part of the LVMH group and regularly plays a major role in high-profile collaborations. Formed in 1987 by merging Moët Hennessy and Louis Vuitton, LVMH has grown into the world’s top luxury powerhouse under Bernard Arnault, who has led the group since 1989 and remains its majority shareholder.

The LVMH group now oversees a staggering 75 brands in six different sectors, including fashion, beauty, watches, jewelry, retail, and more. The iconic roster features big names like Dior, Fendi, TAG Heuer, Bvlgari, Tiffany & Co., Givenchy, Loewe, Celine, Marc Jacobs, Sephora, Benefit Cosmetics, and numerous other industry heavyweights.

Even with so many big names in the LVMH family, Louis Vuitton remains one of the most influential, thanks in large part to the Maison’s legendary monogram and crowd-pleasers like the Alma, Neverfull, Speedy, and OnTheGo.
