【What is blood red coral？】
Red coral logs, known as "blood red coral", are found in the sea around Japan,
especially on the seabed near Kochi Prefecture (Tosa) at a depth of about 300 meters.
Today, collections of red corals are rare, and red and black corals in particular are considered top-notch products.
Blood red coral has a back and a surface.
The surface of the coral where water flows through has many holes with polyps inside,
while the other side has a smooth and beautiful surface.
