Based on the '62GS', the first automatic mechanical model in Grand Seiko history released in 1967, modernized into the '62GS Modern Design Model', this watch features a dial that expresses the seasonal changes unique to Japan. It captures the scene of 'Hanaikada' (flower raft), where cherry blossom petals, having fallen in the wind after the 'Spring Equinox' one of the twenty-four solar terms, cover the water surface of a river.
