京都の宇治にある「昇苑くみひも」は1948年の創業以来、着物の帯締めをはじめ高品質な絹の組紐製品を製造しています。
昔ながらの製紐機で作られた組紐を職人さんの手仕事でブレスレットに仕上げています。小田巻とよばれる玉の部分は、輪っかに固定する役割りとデザインのアクセントにもなっています。
