The "Cosmograph Daytona" was born in 1963. As the pinnacle of the sports collection, it is a chronograph model boasting overwhelming popularity. In 2023, the 60th anniversary of the Daytona's birth, the series was renewed. While retaining the traditional design codes, the case, dial, clasp, and other elements have been updated.
A difference from the previous model 116500LN is that the Cerachrom bezel of the 126500LN has a metal edge, and the indices have been changed to a finer design. The subdials are thinner, and the shape and length of the lugs have also been changed. The 126500LN has a design where the lugs are sharply cut when viewed from the side, and consequently, their length has been shortened. A crown mark is placed between "SWISS MADE" at the 6 o'clock position.
It is equipped with an improved new caliber movement. The new movement, Cal.4131, has fewer parts than before and features an enhanced aesthetic design. It is commonly known as "White Panda."
