The Submariner, which began in 1953, is considered the origin of the dive watch. Its name means "submarine crew member," and it currently boasts excellent functionality with 300m water resistance. Announced in 2020, this model features a 41mm case diameter, a 1mm increase from its predecessor. The slimmer lugs create a well-balanced size that sits comfortably on the wrist. The bezel is made of scratch-resistant Cerachrom, and Chromalight luminous material is used for excellent visibility even in the dark. The bracelet is a robust, matte 3-link bracelet with a Glidelock extension system that allows for easy size adjustments. This is one of the most popular series within Rolex.
