I’ve always enjoyed looking through PenguinVintage’s collection because you never really know what you’re going to find. One day it’s a classic Chanel or Hermès, and the next you come across a rare limited edition, an unusual color, or a piece I’ve never seen before.
What I really like about their collection is that it has something for everyone. They have the timeless pieces you can always rely on, but they also have plenty of rare and unusual finds that make you stop and take a second look. The quality of their pieces has always been great too, which made it easy to feel confident featuring them on ZenLuxe.
I’ve picked some of my favorite finds from their collection, including a few pieces I’ve personally loved and others that stood out to me simply because you don’t see them every day. Our customers have also really enjoyed having such a varied selection from PenguinVintage on ZenLuxe, which makes this edit feel like a nice way to look back at some of the pieces we’ve loved.
A Few of Our Favorites
Classics, But Not Quite as Expected
A good vintage collection needs its classics, but I always find it more exciting when a familiar design has something a little different about it.
Hermès
The Hermès Birkin 30 Sac à Dos immediately caught my eye because of the color combination. The brown base gives it that classic Hermès feel, but I especially love the addition of red. It adds a little more personality and makes this Birkin feel very different from the more traditional versions we usually see.
Chanel
Then there’s this Chanel Blue Tweed Patchwork Single Flap Shoulder Bag. Chanel’s quilted bags are some of the most recognizable pieces in luxury fashion, but this one has a much cooler, grungier feel. It’s also a rare find, which makes it even more special. I love when a classic Chanel feels a little less polished and a little more effortless.
That’s one of the things I enjoy most about vintage shopping. You can find a familiar design, but the color, material, or details can completely change how it feels.
The Fun Side of Vintage
Some of my favorite PenguinVintage finds are the pieces that make you stop scrolling.
Louis Vuitton
The Louis Vuitton 2003 Tweedy Monogram shoulder bag is a perfect example. It’s a rare limited edition, with only 1,000 pieces made, and it looks nothing like the Louis Vuitton bags you see everywhere. The Tweedy Monogram gives the bag a softer and more unusual look, while its limited production makes it a really interesting piece for anyone who likes rare Louis Vuitton designs.
Fendi
The FENDI 2000 Python Mirror Baguette Bag in multicolor is another one that immediately stood out to me. What I love most about this bag is the combination of materials. The python adds a beautiful texture and a more luxurious feel, while the attached mirrors make it feel much more playful and unexpected. I love how Fendi brought together something so refined with a detail that feels almost quirky. It’s a really unique piece and definitely not the kind of Baguette you come across every day.
Balenciaga
I also really like the Balenciaga Crash L Floral shoulder bag. Balenciaga pieces often have a more structured or edgy feel, so I love how soft this one looks compared with what you might normally expect from the brand. The floral design gives it a completely different personality and makes it feel more relaxed.
Christian Dior
And then there’s the Christian Dior Mini Saddle Bag with embroidery. I’m a big fan of embroidery, and I think it completely changes the feeling of this bag. The Saddle is already such a recognizable Dior shape, but the embroidery gives it a softer, more decorative look. It almost feels like the bag has been turned into a little piece of artwork.
When a Bag Becomes a Statement
PenguinVintage also had plenty of pieces that felt like more than just accessories. These are the kinds of designs that can change the whole mood of an outfit.
Goyard
The Goyard Skull handbag is definitely one of them. Goyard is usually known for its classic canvas and instantly recognizable pattern, so the skull gives this bag a completely different attitude. I love how one detail can take such a classic bag and give it a whole new feel.
Loewe
The LOEWE × Suna Fujita Puzzle Mini is another favorite of mine. This collaboration is one of my favorites because the whole collection has such a whimsical, storybook feel, with animals at the heart of the designs. I especially love the penguin on this Puzzle Mini. It gives the bag such a playful and charming personality while still keeping the Puzzle’s recognizable shape.
I’ve always loved how Suna Fujita uses animals in such a simple and imaginative way, and I think it works so beautifully with Loewe. The illustrations make the pieces feel almost like little works of art, but they’re still very wearable. This is definitely one of those collaborations I could look at over and over again. It’s playful, unexpected, and just makes me happy to see it.
Celine
The Celine Teen Triomphe bag in Floral Jacquard is another great example of a classic Celine look done in a less familiar way. It’s a rare piece, and I love how different it looks from the Celine bags we usually see. It still has that understated Celine feeling, but the shape and details give it a little more character.
A Little Something Extra
Of course, it wasn’t only the bags that made browsing PenguinVintage fun.
Cartier
The Cartier Juste un Clou diamond necklace in pink gold is one of those pieces that manages to be instantly recognizable while still feeling understated. The nail-inspired design has such a strong identity on its own, and the diamonds add just enough sparkle without taking away from the simplicity of the design.
I also like that pieces like this show just how varied PenguinVintage’s collection was. You could be looking through handbags one minute and then come across a piece of fine jewelry that you didn’t expect to find.
What Made PenguinVintage’s Selection Special
Looking through PenguinVintage’s collection, what stood out to me was how much variety there was. It wasn’t just about the big names or the classic bags everyone already knows. You could find a timeless Chanel or Hermès piece next to a rare limited edition, an older design, or something completely unexpected.
I also loved the range of colors and styles. Some pieces felt very understated, while others were bold and playful. There were bags you could easily see becoming everyday favorites, and others that felt more like something you’d keep for the design alone.
That mix is what made their collection so much fun to browse. Whether you were looking for a classic piece, something rare, or simply a bag you wouldn’t see everywhere else, there was always something that caught your eye.
And it wasn’t only about handbags. Their jewelry and accessories added even more variety, making it possible to find something special even if you weren’t looking for a bag. I think that variety is a big part of why our customers enjoyed shopping their pieces on ZenLuxe.

We’ll definitely miss seeing their pieces online, but we’re happy that their story will continue in-store. PenguinVintage has been one of the core shops we’ve collaborated with at ZenLuxe, and we’ve genuinely loved having them as part of the platform.
They’ve also been such a lovely team to collaborate with. They’ve always been so nice and easy to work with, and they’ve brought so many amazing pieces to ZenLuxe over the years.
