Jewelry made with garnets from Bohemia (modern-day Czech Republic) was highly popular at the time, and these earrings are believed to be vintage items made after the 1900s, likely in imitation of works from that period.

The main feature is the smooth, cabochon-cut heart shape.
It is plump, round, and thick, and when tilted slowly, a subtle purple shimmers within the dark red, creating an elegant hue.

Twisted metal encircles the heart shape, and on the outside of that, fourteen rose-cut garnets form a border.
The romantic heart motif, ancient-style twisted wire pattern, and the use of rose gold-colored metal with a reddish tone that complements garnets all contribute to a design strongly reminiscent of the Victorian style.

The glossy luster of the cabochon cut and the sparkle of the small facets of the rose cuts reflect light.
