Alferi&St.John 750 (18K) Gold Diamond Brooch.

This brooch features a butterfly and flower motif, part of a series of "nature" themed designs by the Alfieri company at the time. A ring from the same series is also pictured.

The entire piece has a light milgrain finish. As is characteristic of Italian craftsmanship, the depth of the milgrain varies, with some areas more deeply worked than others, indicative of handwork.

This small brooch is understated and versatile, perfect for adding a touch of elegance to scarves or jackets.
