An artisan handmade an arch for a pendant using 18k gold wire. Features a carved design of a peach fruit on a tree. This is a single item purchased by our store's owner at the Guangzhou Trade Fair in China approximately 65 years ago. There are through-holes on both sides of the peach, which were reportedly used to thread it for use at the time. The jadeite has many areas of varying green shades, giving the carving a unique atmosphere. Total weight approximately 1.66g. Jadeite portion maximum width approximately 2.6 x 1.1cm. Please handle the delicate 18k gold arch with care. Carvings like this are reminiscent of Jennifer Jones in the movie "Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing," who is seen using a similar charm on a gold necklace. Why not bring vintage into the modern era?
