This pendant & brooch frame, stamped with "750," uses Akoya baby pearls from "Miyazaki Pearl." The pearls are approximately 4-4.7mm in size, with pink hues, natural blemishes that are difficult to see with the naked eye, and are nearly perfectly round, used generously.

Due to unexplained mass deaths of Akoya oysters each year, harvests have drastically decreased. Baby pearls, especially smaller sizes, have significantly increased in price. This item, using 25 such pearls, is a great value at this price.
The sides are crafted with the now-rare "Karakusa" (arabesque) pattern for the arms. By attaching a brooch clasp, the pearls are finished to move beautifully and elegantly, making this a one-of-a-kind piece. The overall width of approximately 6.5 x 4.5 cm and a total weight of about 11.20g are a convenient size, neither too small nor too large.
