Engraved with "Platinum 900" only. There are no engravings for the weight of the center opal or the surrounding diamonds. Manufactured between the 1965s and 1970s. This item was owned by a metal engraver for many years and previously had a price tag of 200,000 yen. The fire opal has an ideal shape, like a domed bowl, allowing for excellent play-of-color. Although difficult to discern in the photos, "red fabric" (a characteristic of opal) can be seen in some areas. The stone quality, as generally described (e.g., on TV shopping), is of a standard A rank.
